Rafael Ovakimyan

Rafael has been with Kennedy Tax and Business Services since late 2018, bringing with him something that can’t be taught in a classroom — twenty-five years of hard-won business experience across manufacturing, office solutions, and real estate.

He holds a Master of Commerce and a Diploma in Business Management, both from RMIT. But it’s the breadth of industries he’s moved through that shaped him into the business professional he is today: someone who understands how organisations actually work, where they get stuck, and what it takes to move them forward.

As Business Development Manager, Rafael works across a wide range of strategic and operational responsibilities — implementing business strategies, evaluating team and organisational performance, and driving the kind of continuous improvement that keeps a firm competitive and efficient. His skill set spans marketing, brand management, business development, and business management, and he brings all of it to bear in a role that sits at the heart of the firm’s growth.
